Q. What is a Parked Server?
A. Most of our client web sites are hosted on shared servers. This keeps hosting cost down to about $30 per month for a normal web site and domain. Some other clients, usually those with unusual programming needs or requiring over 200 MBytes of storage find it more economical to have their own server located in our Internet Facility.
Q. What are the advantages of having a parked server?
A. It means that you are not limited to how much data you store on the server. Most of our dedicated servers have at least 10 GB in storage available for your data. It also means that you can run processor intensive databases and other similar applications which would not perform well on a shared server.
Q. How much does it cost?
A. Dedicated Server parking has several pricing options. It starts at $200 per month.
Q. Can you provide a server and tech support?
A. Yes. We can provide a new 2 GHZ BSD Unix Server with all the aftermarket accessories you need. The pricing starts at $400 per month and includes the machine, operating system and complete technical support.
